Code.org® is a non-profit dedicated to expanding access to computer science, and increasing participation by women and underrepresented minorities so every student in every school has the opportunity to learn computer science, just like biology, chemistry or algebra. Code.org organizes the annual Hour of Code campaign which has engaged 10% of all students in the world, and provides the leading curriculum for K-12 computer science in school districts in the US. Discover strategies for using the iWork Suite: Pages, Number, and Keynote on the iPad. These apps that once had a combined cost of $29.97, now can be installed free on new iPads since 2013. We’ll also have the time for practice with the iLife Suite for iOS (iPad/iPhone) of iPhoto, iMovie, and Garageband, which is also now free with the purchase of a new iOS device.

Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) - take a 3 to 5 year look at what you will be doing with technology in your district. We will take a look at trends in technology use – not only at K-12, but also in colleges and industry, and help you develop YOUR 3 to 5 year plan.


Reading Online - Learning Success


Bring this training to YOUR site!
In this training, topics addressed will include the importance of close reading instruction within Ohio’s Learning Standards, the successful integration of text complexity and the role of student motivation within reading instruction. We’ll also include strategies to help students improve their skills when reading online digital content.


Registration must be received 2 weeks prior to the first class unless noted otherwise.
MUST HAVE MINIMUM ENROLLMENT OF 6 FOR TRAINING TO BE HELD. DECISION TO HOLD TRAINING MADE TWO WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF TRAINING DATE.



Cancellation Policy: There is no charge if your registration cancellation is received at least 2 weeks prior to start of class. Graduate course fee refunds follow the university policy.
