100% Online Instruction
With this professional development both the students and instructor communicate via the Internet using computers or other electronic devices. A learning management system (i.e. Edmodo, Moodle, Schoology, etc.) may or may not be used. All instruction is delivered by distance and requires an Internet connection on the instructorís and studentís device.

Blended Instruction
This professional development offers a combination of face-to-face and online instruction.

Face-to-face Instruction
This professional development occurs a physical location in a computer lab, access to a mobile lab, or with participants providing their own mobile devices and is held at the NWOET Technology Lab or at a remote site.

Professional Development PLUS Equipment
In this type of face-to-face professional development, the cost of the technology tool featured is included in the training price as are most materials.

Graduate Credit
Grant funding allows NWOET, in partnership with Bowling Green State University, to offer graduate credit for some professional development events at the reduced cost. Any use of credit toward a degree program requires written approval of the studentís advisor before enrolling in the class. Other institutions of higher learning also allow NWOET to offer graduate credit for some professional development that offered 15 hours or more of instruction. Call NWOET for more information.

40 or 80 Hours CORE Professional Development + Needs Assessment
This program includes designing and implementing the perfect technology professional development plan based on your districtís instructional goals, teacher needs and current district technology using data collected from your district.

NWOET will work hand-in-hand with your administrator(s), technology coordinators and teachers to develop a professional plan that will optimize your current district technology. Once developed, professional development will be provided to your district, followed by an evaluation of the plan.

Technology Professional Development Survey
NWOET can provide a survey designed to be used in a building or district to help those who are planning professional development. All teachers in the school complete the survey to help guide and customize design of professional development to the exact needs of the buildingís staff taking in consideration data collected in the survey. The list of topics on the survey is not inclusive, as we can do almost anything that a school district desires.
